उत्तराखंड के प्रसिद्ध पर्यटन स्थल औली में क्रिसमस और नए साल के जश्न को लेकर जबरदस्त उत्साह देखने को मिल रहा है। बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटकों के पहुंचने की उम्मीद के बीच औली के गेस्ट हाउस पूरी तरह फुल हो चुके हैं, जबकि होटलों में 60 प्रतिशत से अधिक बुकिंग पहले ही हो चुकी है। हर दिन बुकिंग का ग्राफ लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है।
औली में गढ़वाल मंडल विकास निगम (GMVN) के सभी गेस्ट हाउस 23 दिसंबर से 3 जनवरी तक पूरी तरह बुक हो चुके हैं। जीएमवीएन के स्की रिजॉर्ट, नंदा देवी और क्लाउड इन गेस्ट हाउस में करीब 300 पर्यटकों के ठहरने की क्षमता है। इसके अलावा, ज्योतिर्मठ स्थित जीएमवीएन गेस्ट हाउसों में भी पर्यटकों ने बड़ी संख्या में बुकिंग करानी शुरू कर दी है।
वहीं औली में निजी होटलों की भी अच्छी खासी संख्या है, जहां करीब 60 प्रतिशत तक बुकिंग हो चुकी है। औली में जीएमवीएन और निजी होटलों को मिलाकर एक हजार से अधिक पर्यटकों के ठहरने की व्यवस्था उपलब्ध है। इसके अलावा हट और टेंट की सुविधाएं भी मौजूद हैं। औली से नीचे सुनील और टीवी टावर क्षेत्र के आसपास भी कई होटल हैं, जहां पर्यटकों की आमद बढ़ने की उम्मीद है।
औली होटल एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष अंती प्रकाश शाह ने बताया कि अगर बर्फबारी हुई तो सभी होटल एक झटके में फुल हो जाएंगे। नए साल के जश्न को लेकर होटलों में विशेष तैयारियां की गई हैं।
वहीं जीएमवीएन के प्रबंधक प्रदीप शाह ने बताया कि औली के तीनों गेस्ट हाउस पूरी तरह फुल हो चुके हैं और ओवर बुकिंग की स्थिति में वैकल्पिक व्यवस्थाएं की जा रही हैं। 31 दिसंबर को औली में बोन फायर, म्यूजिक सिस्टम और पारंपरिक पहाड़ी भोजन की विशेष व्यवस्था की जाएगी, जिसमें कोदे की रोटी, चैंसा, काफली, झंगोरे की खीर और चटनी शामिल होगी।
