Nepal Gen Z Protests Live: Army Imposes Curfew, Youth Suggest Sushila Karki as Interim PM
Nepal is facing a major political crisis as Gen Z-led protests continue across the country. Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli resigned after massive anti-government demonstrations, and now young protesters are proposing former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as the interim Prime Minister.
Army’s Nationwide Curfew
बुधवार को Nepal Army ने प्रतिबंधात्मक आदेश (Restrictive Orders) जारी किए और फिर एक राष्ट्रव्यापी कर्फ़्यू (Nationwide Curfew) लागू कर दिया।
Army ने कहा कि यह कदम हिंसा रोकने और नागरिकों की सुरक्षा (Safety) के लिए उठाया गया है। Essential service vehicles जैसे ambulance, fire engine, health workers और security personnel को अनुमति दी गई है, लेकिन आम जनता की आवाजाही (Movement) पर रोक है।
Army का कहना है कि कुछ “lawless groups” ने protests की आड़ में तोड़फोड़ (Vandalism), आगज़नी (Arson), और हिंसक हमले (Violent Attacks) किए हैं। जब तक स्थिति सामान्य नहीं होती, कर्फ़्यू जारी रहेगा।
Violent Protests and Oli’s Resignation
Youth protesters ने गुस्से में सरकारी दफ़्तर (Government Offices), राजनीतिक दलों के मुख्यालय (Party Headquarters) और वरिष्ठ नेताओं के आवास (Residences) तक जला दिए।
Nationwide anger देखते हुए Oli ने राजीनामा (Resignation) दे दिया। उन्होंने कहा: “I resign to help resolve the situation politically under the constitution.”
लोगों ने इस step को एक युवा शक्ति की जीत (Victory of Youth Power) के रूप में देखा।
Indian Pilgrims Stranded in Tibet
इस अशांति (Unrest) का असर कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा (Kailash Mansarovar Yatra) पर भी पड़ा। सैकड़ों भारतीय यात्री (Indian Pilgrims) Tibet में फँसे हुए हैं।
Lucknow के Dr. Sujay Sidhan ने बताया कि parikrama complete करने के बाद यात्रियों को आराम (Rest) और ऑक्सीजन (Oxygen) की ज़रूरत होती है। लेकिन limited facilities के कारण Chinese authorities उन्हें nearby border towns में shift कर रहे हैं।
Pilgrims ने भारतीय विदेश मंत्रालय (Indian MEA) से मदद की अपील की है।
China’s Official Response
China ने finally अपनी चुप्पी (Silence) तोड़ी और एक official statement जारी किया। Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson ने कहा:
“Nepal should handle domestic issues peacefully and restore stability as soon as possible.”
हालाँकि Beijing ने Oli के resignation पर सीधे तौर पर कुछ नहीं कहा, जबकि Oli को China-friendly leader माना जाता था।
Why Gen Z Supports Sushila Karki
Nepali youth मानते हैं कि सुशीला कार्की (Sushila Karki) एक ईमानदार (Honest) और निष्पक्ष (Neutral) नेता हैं। Nepal की पहली महिला Chief Justice के रूप में उन्होंने corruption के खिलाफ सख्त stand लिया था।
इसी वजह से Gen Z उन्हें एक विश्वसनीय विकल्प (Trustworthy Option) मानता है, जो इस संकट में देश का मार्गदर्शन कर सकती हैं।
Nepal at a Crossroads
Oli के resignation के बाद Nepal एक अनिश्चितता (Uncertainty) के दौर से गुजर रहा है। Youth अब एक शक्तिशाली राजनीतिक ताक़त के रूप में उभर चुके हैं।
उनकी मांगें साफ़ हैं – पारदर्शिता (Transparency), लोकतंत्र (Democracy) और जवाबदेही (Accountability)।
अगले कुछ हफ़्ते तय करेंगे कि Nepal सुधार (Reform) की राह पर बढ़ेगा या और अस्थिरता (Instability) का सामना करेगा।
Gujarat CM ने Centre से की मदद की मांग
Nepal में चल रहे violent anti-government protests के बीच कई Gujarati tourists और students फँस गए हैं। बुधवार को Gujarat के Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel ने कहा कि उनकी सरकार ने भारत सरकार (Centre) से सुरक्षित वापसी (Safe Return) के लिए मदद मांगी है।
Centre का Assurance on Indians in Nepal
State minister Rushikesh Patel ने बताया कि Centre ने आश्वासन (Assurance) दिया है कि Nepal में फँसे सभी Indians, जिनमें Gujarati लोग भी शामिल हैं, की पूरी सुरक्षा की जा रही है।
उन्होंने कहा: “State administration लगातार Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) के संपर्क में है ताकि सभी Gujarati tourists और students को सुरक्षित वापिस लाया जा सके। इस संबंध में CM Patel ने अधिकारियों को आवश्यक निर्देश दिए हैं।”
Nepal Political Crisis और Violence
Nepal इस समय एक गंभीर राजनीतिक संकट (Serious Political Crisis) से गुजर रहा है। मंगलवार को Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli ने massive protests के बीच resignation दे दिया।
Protesters ने कई government buildings, parliament और high-profile leaders के आवास (Residences) तक को आग के हवाले कर दिया। Reports के अनुसार, अब तक 19 लोगों की मौत (Deaths) और 500 से ज़्यादा घायल (Injuries) हुए हैं।
Bhupendra Patel का Concern for Gujaratis
Minister Rushikesh Patel ने कहा: “Nepal incident के बाद Bhupendrabhai ने तुरंत सभी प्रवासी Gujaratis की स्थिति का review लिया। Gujarat से बहुत से लोग Nepal tourism के लिए जाते हैं। CM उनकी safety और well-being को लेकर चिंतित हैं।”

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) ने Indian citizens के लिए travel advisory जारी की है। Advisory में कहा गया है:
