India is planning its first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, INS Vishal, under TPCR 2025. Equipped with EMALS, Indian fighter jets, and drones, it will boost India’s naval power in the Indian Ocean and beyond.
भारत अब अपनी समुद्री ताकत को बढ़ाने के लिए एक बड़ा कदम उठा रहा है। TPCR 2025 (Technology Perspective and Capability Roadmap) के तहत भारत अपना पहला nuclear-powered aircraft carrier बनाने जा रहा है, जिसका नाम संभवतः INS Vishal होगा।
यह नया aircraft carrier भारत के पुराने carriers जैसे INS Vikrant और INS Vikramaditya से कहीं ज्यादा advanced और modern होगा।
Nuclear Power से मिलेगी ज़्यादा ताकत
INS Vishal में nuclear propulsion system होगा, जिससे यह बिना refueling किए महीनों तक समंदर में काम कर सकेगा। इससे भारत की blue-water navy क्षमता में बहुत बढ़ोतरी होगी।

ये aircrafts पुराने MiG-29K की जगह लेंगे। इसके साथ ही भारत ने France से 26 Rafale-Marine jets का सौदा भी किया है जो INS Vikrant पर तैनात किए जाएंगे।
EMALS: Modern Launch System
INS Vishal में EMALS (Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System) लगाया जाएगा। यह technology अभी अमेरिका की Ford-class aircraft carriers में इस्तेमाल हो रही है।
